Who We Are
The Primate Capital team is a group of highly skilled and experienced individuals in project/corporate finance, investment and corporate banking that have joined forces to promote and structure project finance, as well as, structured trading and commodity finance.
A collaborative approach is followed in co-operation with the project sponsor, investment houses and financial institutions in the structuring of the appropriate funding for a particular project on the back of innovative financing structuring building blocks as developed by Primate Capital whilst also applying established financing techniques and instruments.
These building block structures mostly result in lower project repayments and could improve the credit risk of a project resulting in potential lower cost of funding on the project finance debt. The structures could also result in a lower equity contribution with an increased proportion of debt / mezzanine funding in the particular project finance mix. This, in turn, will lead to an increased IRR and return on equity.
